Davide Bellone is a Principal Backend Developer, Content Creator and Microsoft MVP. He loves exploring new tools and libraries, going the extra mile in writing blog posts and delivering tech sessions. He also runs Code4IT.dev, a tech blog where he publishes articles about .NET, Azure, Software Architecture, Testing, and other stuff that most Backend Developers will find interesting. Tutti noi scriviamo Unit Test. Facili da scrivere, rapidi da eseguire. Lanciamo la nostra suite di test, tutto diventa verde e ci sentiamo sicuri. Ma lo siamo davvero? In questa sessione vedremo gli Unit Test con uno spirito critico: certo, sono famosi e usati ovunque, ma sono veramente così utili come pensiamo? Cercheremo di rispondere ad alcune domande: quali impatti hanno nel nostro codice? Ci velocizzano o ci rallentano? Quali alternative abbiamo? La Code Coverage serve veramente? Tante domande che vi faranno mettere in discussione uno dei mantra dello sviluppo software: "Scrivete gli Unit Test, sempre!"
